Aphrodisias The common name of many ancient cities dedicated to the goddess Aphrodite. The most famous of the cities named Aphrodisias (or Aphrodisias) is the Ancient Greek city located in the southwest of Anatolia, in the old Caria region, where the Geyre district of Aydın's Karacasu district is located today.
